Ruby continues to teach us all about LOVE

Today is the one year anniversary of the passing of our grand daughter. Her name is Ruby June Warburton. In memory of her and all the kindness and service that was provided to her mother and father, Kristin and Jared, they wanted to honor and remember her. She was with them for fifteen wonderful but hard days. So for the past fifteen days they have asked others to remember her by doing simple acts of service for others and then letting them know about it on our daughters blog "Come what may and Love it".Along with asking others to do acts of service for each of the fifteen days they have also been having giveaways on each day to honor her memory. So today I went to Payson Market to get the friday meal deal. When I got to the cooler where the ice cream and the pizza for the meal deal were there was a young mother with her daughter getting the items also. The mother looked at me and said Hi Mark and then see said that her little girl was dressed in red to honor Ruby. MY heart just melted. I wasn't sure who they were but I knew they knew me and my daughter. She and her daughter went around the corner and I just had to let her know that I didn't recognize her. She told me who she was and explained that we all change. She was one of Kristin's friends in high school and had spent many hours in our home. Before II left I just had to get a picture of this sweet little girl who was wearing red in memory of my grand daughter. I want to express my gratitude to Jessica and her daughter Lexi for their service to me and our family today. Thank you so very much. Posted by Mark

I was reading The Moments We Stand when I came across your blog. I'm sorry for snooping but I just wanted to say you look like awesome grandparents and I'm sorry for your loss.
